OneLetter ("we", "us", "our") is an information service operated in the United Kingdom. We provide plain-English summaries and explanations of official letters and documents to help individuals understand their contents.

2. Not Legal Advice

Important: OneLetter is an information service only. Nothing we provide constitutes legal, financial, or professional advice. Our explanations are for general informational purposes and should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional advice from a solicitor, accountant, or other qualified professional.

If you receive a legal notice, court summons, or urgent document, please consult a qualified solicitor promptly.

3. Our Services

We offer two tiers of service:

  • Tier 1 — Instant AI (£4.99): Your letter is analysed by an AI system and an explanation is sent to your email address within minutes.
  • Tier 2 — Expert Reviewed (£29.99): Your letter is analysed by an AI system and then reviewed by a human before being sent. Delivery is within 24 hours.

4. Payments and Refunds

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details.

Due to the digital nature of our service, we are unable to offer refunds once your explanation has been delivered. If you experience a technical issue that prevents delivery, please contact us at hello@oneletter.uk within 7 days of payment.

5. Acceptable Use

You must only upload documents that you have the right to share. Do not upload documents belonging to others without their consent. Do not use our service for any unlawful purpose.

6. Accuracy

We endeavour to provide accurate and helpful explanations. However, we make no warranties, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, or suitability of any explanation for your specific situation. AI systems can make mistakes.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OneLetter shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of our service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
